Pen Pals -- Write for Inky Trail News!

Every issue of Inky Trail News is full of articles written by readers -- pen pals! I love to publish your articles and you make Inky Trail News what it is!

This is my small friendship newsletter and I can't pay writers -- but I do provide complimentary issues for your published article, depending on the size of your article. I will credit you with 1-2 issues for most articles... sometimes 3 issues (six month subscription).

I prefer e-mailed stories and articles (so much easier to cut and paste into my newsletter) but I also accept typewritten articles and handwritten ones, if legible. I prefer approximately 500-600 words, but I do use some that are longer!

I hope to hear from you! Pen pals are all about differences in cultures, thoughts, lifestyles -- even something simple like my "View from my Window" ends up being something very interesting!

You can write about any letter writing topic. I encourage your thoughts on letters, memories of letters from your childhood, post offices, mail boxes, stationery addiction, postal stamps, favorite pals, etc.

Crafts - What do you make? Paper crafts, decoupage, dolls, quilting, crocheting? Tell us about it!

Collectors - Write to us about your collection. Where do you find your collectible pieces? Where do you keep your collection? Describe your favorite pieces.... details!

Personal Journaling/Memories - Do you keep a journal or a scrapbook of family events? Do you have treasured or childhood memories to share? Share them with readers!

Genealogy - Building a family tree? Making a search for your ancestors, your roots? What methods do you use to trace them? Tell us what you've found along your search.

Hometown- Describe your hometown, your occupation, hometown festivities, parades, family gatherings, celebrations, picnics. Take us with you to work for our "A Day In The Life" column.
