Life in Texas is special to me. I was born and raised in Texas. There are many sites to see and enjoy. Hope people come and see what we have to offer sometime.
Austin is the capital of Texas where I grew up. I like to see the tourist sites just for fun. It helps remind of the Texas history we take for granted.
I enjoy the art gallaries and museums in Austin very much.
I get postcards at a tourist gift shop to send to people I write to. They really enjoy them a lot. They vary from scenery, recipes, funny quotes, animal, flower. I like to get them every few months.
The University of Texas here in Austin is one of the biggest university in Texas. We are all Longhorn fans for sure. Bevo is the the longhorn mascat for the university.
I have been to the Alamo in San Antionio and its a great site to see.
I enjoy all the Texas wildflowers in the spring too.
Bluebonnets are the Texas flower too.
The Bob Bullock Texas Museum shows movies and displays about the Texas cowboy life. I enjoy going there every few months. They also have a small snack bar where you can get tasty treats especially the texas praline candys everyone loves so much.
We all love our bbq food and hamburgers and fries.
We have a wide varity of restaurants that serve food from all over the world. So we try to eat healthier these days.
I really enjoy my life in Texas and hope someday you get to come see us sometime.
