St. Louis is in the state of Missouri in the midwestern part of the USA.

Most people know St. Louis by the Arch that stands looking over the Mississippi River. St. Louis was part of the Louisiana Purchase when the US purchased land along the Mississippi River from France. Our city is known as the Gateway to the West!

The Hot dog and the Ice cream cone where invented in St. Louis at the 1904 Worlds Fair! We have the first Catholic church west of the Mississippi River, the largest brewer in the world (Anieseur Busch), a hub for American Airlines, and headquarters to Energizer, Edward Jones, and some other big name companies.

The biggest love for St. Louisians is sports! We have hockey, baseball, and football! We are huge sports fans!

St. Louis also has a good amount of cultures from all over the world. We have a little Italian neighborhood called "The Hill", and Irish neighborhood called "Dogtown" and also Asian, Bosnian, German, French, and other communities!
