Sharon and I were Pen pals for several years when I lived in Texas. Now I have moved to Arkansas.

We lost contact when she got a divorce or separated from her husband and I fear she tried to contact me after my move and my change of address had run out. :-( I miss her so much.

She and I swapped recipes and just could chat in letters as if we had known one another all our lives. She had once owned a sandwich shop and shared so many recipes with me.

I used to buy my dressing from Wyatt's cafeteria for Thanksgiving because my self esteem was so low, (by critical in-laws that came over) and I was afraid I couldn't make it good. THEN Wyatt's went out of business and I was doomed. lol.

With Sharon's wonderful recipe and such encouragement from her, I made her dressing that year, and low and behold, it was so good the in-laws accused me of buying it. lol. I think they just looked for reasons to criticize me.

Now it is a hit with my own family and I think of her so much when I make it.

I would love to hear from her. She lived in Burleson, then moved several places, ended up in Hubbard, Texas until she separated.

I sent her a card to her old Hubbard address thinking her ex would forward to her BUT he sent it back to me and said she no longer was there and didn't care to send on to her :-(

I hope someone writes her or knows her. I would love to reconnect.

You said to write about we knew about our missing pal, I hope I have done this right.

I met her through a Friendship book.
