Ronald D. Gierhan from Lincoln, Nebraska

Ronald Gierhan and his wife, Sharon, with their two beautiful daughters, Jennifer and Sheila, welcomed me, Keiichi Nakama, and Susumu Matsumura, in their Lincoln, Nebraska home four nights and five days in mid-August 1971, and we had a wonderful and memorable homestay with them.
We still appreciate a great deal their kindness and hospitality. I was a leader of a group of 41 Japanese bank officers from age 27 to 39, touring the US for 56 days.
I was a visiting scholar way back in 1982-93 at the Univ. of Illinois at Urabana-Champaign for one year, and while I was there, I wrote a letter from Urbana, IL, to Ron, who worked at the Univ. of Lincoln as administrator in 1971, but it came back with the address unknown.
If anyone happens to know about this wonderful family, I'd appreciate your information. Thank you for your help. Keiichi Nakama
