Pen Pals For Kids -- Students...

I am an 11 year old girl who would like a pen pal somewhere in Europe. But I don't know where start or how to find anyone! Can you help? Or recommend a website?


WENDY'S ANSWER: Try the STUDENTS OF THE WORLD website. I don't usually recommend that kids look for pals online... just too many risks out there.

WHY do I like Students of the World? Well, you can select almost any country, and click -- there are all the kids ads. I looked at Belgium, for example, and there are kids from age 7 - 21 listed. You can click and email any of them on the form.. but you don't get their email address. That's fantastic.. it means your email address isn't posted online and you remain relatively safe.

Now -- I can't guarantee you are safe, you might get "bad" emails.. but just hit DELETE and DO NOT RESPOND.. ok?

You can add your own pen pal ad,make changes to it later, or even delete it.. so that's a nice feature too.
