What if your pen pal can't write english and can't speak english?

Wendy's reply: Great question! Many years ago, when I got a pen pal in grade school, I picked England because I assumed the others wouldn't speak English.. wrong assumption!

Most countries speak English as a second language... any pals using this website (and most out there) all speak English. Some might sound a bit different... as English isn't their native language. Some are different as the slang words used are different, but that's the FUN of it all.

I love pals from different countries! You can travel the world from the comfort of your home... and you can learn so much from your pals!

English speaking pals

wow!! I just signed up, my dad wants me to get one that can speak 2 languages. But i don't know were to get one!..???

Wendy: Go to Kids Pals on the left.. and read all about it there. You can say on the application that you want kids who speak two languages and we'll find someone from a cool country you can write to. Maybe they'll teach you how to say "Hello Pal!"

i wanted to know the same thing so I came to the questions/answers part and woosh!! I now know!!

Wendy again: Yes, I think lots of adults and kids think that only USA, Canada and England speak English.. but nearly all countries do. It's only the USA that speaks only one language... so its easy to find pen pals worldwide!
