Pen pals between both girls and boys?

Is it okay, if you are a girl, and you want boys as your pen pals, because i mean is it really appropriate?

Wendy: It probably depends on your age... if you are too young, the boys might not write back. Grin! But yes, you can ask for both boys and girls or only boys -- and send your letters.

Most kids will reply to all letters they receive!
