Pen Pal Letters, being late?

I had 2 pen pals who sent me reminders telling me I was late, I did not appreciate, as this year had been difficult, sickness in the family, tired, and depressed, so did not feel like writing for a while, they quit, I guess they did not understand.

I thought it was a hobby and not a contract.

I would like to know what you think.

Wendy This is a hobby but its also a friendship which is always a delicate balance. People might have worried about you, wondering what happened, and thus responded a little harshly. Just find a new pen pal.. there are lots out there, some critical, some not-so-much. Just like in real life, all kinds of people out there! Try Try Again!
