What do I send to my penpal?

I have a pen pal from China and we have been emailing for about a month. We both decided to send snail mail and I'm going first.

This is my first time having a snail mail pen pal and I don't know what to send. I was going to send pictures of me and my family. Also some of my neighborhood but after that I'm at a dead end.

I live in Atlanta, GA and there is lots to do here I was just wondering what you usually send in snail mail?
