Nairobi /kenya

(Nairobi/ Kenya)
Call me Douglas from kenya. My country is under third world category. I dont know why but that's as per the UN ratings.
Its situated somewhere along the equator on the east of our beloved continent Africa. Its sandwiched between ethiopia in the north. Uganda in the west, Tanzania in the south and partly Somalia in the far north east along the coast of Indian ocean.
Economically, my country has adopted the capitalist kind of lifestyle. It boasts of both the poor and the rich. The gap btn the poor and the rich is relatively alarming - a situation the government is at present trying to contain.
However, on the world platform, my country has struggled to have its deserved and well earned position in both political, economical and social fields.
Politically, Kenya has been actively contributing its military personnel to serve in piece keeping missions. Its has further sought to address and even actively participated in striking peace deals and offering mediation btn worrying functions in troubled neighbouring countries like somalia and sudan.
Econmically, my country is an economical power house of the region. In fact is the gateway to both east and central Africa. We are doing well in agriculture putting in mind that its one of the largest tea producers in the world.
The tourism sector is also doing well with tourists streaming in from all over the world. You can imagine the scenario of watching the sun rays being reflected back in the sky by the vast waters of Indian ocean at twillight.
What about watching the migration of thousands of bulderbeasts from the mara park to the serengeti, which happens to be one of the world wonders. Just but to name a few- ask me more later.
Socially, we boast of coexisting with people from all over the world regardless of colour and race.
Sportswise, we happen to be the country with the greatest long distance runners ever in history.
