Lost Pen Pals:
Darrell Parcell Oklahoma

Darrell and I wrote to each other for quite a few years when we were both about 15 years old.

Darrell would be about 57 years old now and had a sister called Brenda. Darrell was a red head and his father was in the pipe line business.

The address that I used all those years ago does not seem to exist any more so I can not get in touch.

I eventually got married and had children. My husband was very jealous and put pressure on me to end the correspondence. After all these years I still regret not continuing our letter writing as I believe we got so much out of sharing ordinary stories about our lives and culture.

It would be so nice to hear how he has got on in the intervening years and to swop stories again.

I eventually divorced my husband because of his brutality and infidelity. I am now married to a very different man and have two step children as well as my own three children from my first marriage.

I hope that someone out there can help us to get in touch again.
