Kids Pen-Pal list

I was wondering about the pen-pal list. Do I have to write to everybody on the list or pick a couple? Will the people I don't pick still have a pen-pal with somebody else? And who writes first?

Wendy: You can write to any or all of the pals we send you. That's completely up to you. Pick one or send all of them a letter.

We don't know who will reply to you... sometimes, for whatever reason, a pal won't reply. They got busy, found another pal and don't want another, whatever. It's not nice that the pal doesn't at least write and say they have enough pals, but it happens, even with adults. So if you write and get no reply, write to another pal!

Just like in real life, some will "click" as friends via letters, and others you just might not like. But when you find a good pal or two, they are great friends, often closer than your own local friends (and family). It's very cool!
