HOW A PEN PAL MADE A BIG IMPACT ON MY LIFE

Let me tell you just one way that my pen pal, Robyn made a big impact on my life. This is just one of the MANY ways that her kindness has touched my life.

One day after Christmas when my kids were little, Robyn and I were talking on the phone. (This was before we learned what texting was! LOL!)

Anyway, Robyn was asking me what my girls, Kassidy and Elayna, got for Christmas. I told her, "Well, Kassidy said she was mad at Santa, because he didn't bring her a Barbie house." Then I whispered into the phone, that we just couldn't afford one this year. Our conversation continued on, and I didn't think much else about that part of our conversation.

But the next week, a HUGE box came in the mail for my girls!

Yes, you guessed it: Robyn sent my girls one of her daughter's Barbie houses, complete with furniture!! Her daughter had heard the conversation, and felt like she had outgrown her Barbie house, so Robyn boxed it all up (in OH), and sent it all the way to us in MS!

I was so surprised and grateful.

This isn't the only way she has shown her kindness through years; this was just one BIG way she made an impact on my life!
