Having a penpal these days?

I have always wanted a penpal since i was a child, but in this day and age i have never been sure about giving my address out. Where can i go and find a penpal that i can be sure is the real thing?

Wendy: I'm sooo late in responding to this.. I am sorry! If you register for my e-newsletter (it's free) you'll get email pal ads via email. Most of the want snail mail, so you simply swap postal addresses, one on one, after you find someone you want to write to. You could also order my snail mail newsletter, Inky Trail News (info on left side bar).
