Hand Written Letters Remain the Best Ones -
Postal Vs Email Letters

by Wilson Constantin
(Yaounde(Cameroon))

When you receive a hand-written letter from a friend, you feel that friend before you.

You have the opportunity of seeing the person's handwriting and from there you can have a good idea of them. In my opinion, a hand-written letter is the author him/herself.

On the contrary, an email is just letters of the computer and has no originality at all. Even when a picture is scanned, it is just something picture-like but not that picture itself. By receiving a photo in an envelope, one can even write something and that will please the recipient.

It is nonetheless true that postal mails are sometimes very slow but we all say in English 'slow but sure' so even if I am to wait two months to receive an original letter, I will be happy.

After all, I am an African and every body knows that Africa means originality.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL...
