This is, of course, a confidential service as they will send you the personal address of the soldier, after you are approved. Military addresses are a well-kept secret, nowadays, due to security issues... so do take your letter writing seriously.

In the letters, send happiness! Send a funny story, a description of the season, some adventure you recently did... anything to bring memories from home to your soldier!
