Boring Penpals?

I also struggle with what to say to a penpal that sends me boring letters. I'm pretty easy to get along with and love to hear about everything - yes even the weather. So its difficult to bore me but it can be done.

Currently I have one penpal whos letters I can't read so I asked her in my last letters to please type. She also talks about the same things over and over again. Shes very short and doesn't describe things at all.

If your wondering why I keep writing to her its simple - I know she needs a friend. What I do is only write to her once in a while.

I feel thats nicer then just dropping her. I also don't want to hurt her feelings by admitting she bores me. So I send her a letter every once in a while. Its no big deal on my part and it provides her with some needed friendship.

I can't say I will always keep writing to her but for now I don't have the heart to stop. Shes a older lady whos disabled due to a stroke. So as you see I can understand her situation.

I think you should consider your penpals situation before you make judgement calls.
